Hide or show controls based on a selected option —
Rules bring your form tolife and provides a more interactive experience with the user.
Group the controls within a section and add a formatting rule
to the section.

First create a form like this: (add a section, and then insert a table, then put the control inside). You will hide/show this whole section based on the checkbox value.

In Home tab, select Manage Rules

select the section (group), click New Formatting

Define the condition and formatting rule, done.

Format an Entry based on a condition – (change font style of an entry based on that entered value)

Implement a validation rule —

Add Action Rule to Button —

Use Rules for Form Submission —
On Data tab, click Submit Options

Select Perform “custom action using Rules”

Use Rules for Form Loading —

Perform action (such as setting initial rules) when form loads (like Form_Loads)

Add Rule (validation – quick way)
